A new CEN Standardisation initiative promoted by CEN, EURATEX and ENEA is coming: a new CEN Workshop eBIZ will provide a framework for stakeholders and experts to develop solutions for boosting the use of eBusiness and improving the interoperability of B2B (Business-to-Business) data exchange through the supply chain of the fashion industry – including textiles, clothing and footwear. The first eInvoice managed by Emilia-Romagna Region [28/10/2011]

The first Italian electronic eInvoice has been exchanged by the Emilia Romagna region with one of its suppliers. The adopted technology was defined by the European PEPPOL project based on the standards CEN WS/BII e OASIS UBL. The pilot was managed by the regional agency for public procurement Intercent-ER.

The Universal Business Language (UBL) TC members have produced an updated Committee Specification Draft (CSD) and submitted this specification for 30-day public review. The public review starts 26 August 2011 and ends 24 September 2011. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not,for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work.
